On April 13, 2025, the West Bengal MMA Association, in collaboration with Asansol Karate Home Point and MMA & Fitness Academy, Raniganj, successfully organized an MMA Referee, Judge, and Official Certification Seminar in Asansol. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 19 individuals representing various districts across West Bengal.

The seminar was led by MMAFI President Sensei Mayur Bansode and General Secretary Mr. Shiba Pradhan. At the conclusion of the event, Sensei Mayur Bansode expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the West Bengal MMA Association for their efforts in organizing the seminar. He emphasized MMAFI’s commitment to expanding Mixed Martial Arts across India, not only in metropolitan hubs like Kolkata but also in Tier-2 cities like Asansol, fostering growth and opportunities in diverse regions.
